Visintin races onto the podium in Montafon

The Algunder didn't have much trouble in either the round of 30 or the quarter-finals. The XNUMX-year-old got himself into a good starting position with good starts and brought the runs to the finish line with a lot of routine.

He also showed his class in the round of the last four, only having to admit defeat to the eventual winner Alessandro Hämmerle and confidently making it into the final. There, Visintin didn't get off to the start he wanted, but thanks to a strong performance in the lower, very flat part of the track, he was able to finish third. The Australian Cameron Bolton came second.

By the way: Visintin has a special relationship with Montafon, because the South Tyrolean won his first World Cup race at the same location almost exactly seven years ago.

Moioli cheers, Perathoner doesn't Emanuel Perathoner, on the other hand, was less lucky: The 33-year-old from Laion got off to a bad start in the round of 17 and was unable to make up for the gap that had opened up over the short distance.
