World Cup in Sudelfeld: Only March and Ochner in the round of 16

March made it to the final of the best 14 in the men's race in 16th place. The man from Vipiteno recorded a time of 1:11,70 and was therefore 1,76 seconds slower than Vic Wild, who was fastest in qualifying. The Russian set a best time of 1:09,94 minutes and relegated the Slovenian Zan Kosir and March's round of 19 opponent, the Russian Andrey Sobolev, to the places. However, it wasn't enough for Edwin Coratti from Grauner (26th), Christoph Mick from Welschnofen (40th) and Roland Filehner from Funes (XNUMXth).

In the women's qualification, Czech Ester Ledecka was fastest in 1:17,16 minutes. Julie Zogg from Switzerland took second place (+0,04), Austria's Marion Kreiner took third place (+0,14). Nadya Ochner, however, survived the qualification with the eighth best time. In the Achilles final, which will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m., the Burgstaller will meet the German Anke Karstens.
