The Algunders are upside down: They and their top athlete Omar Visintin (32) are happy about the bronze medal in boardercross at the Winter Olympics in China. Of course, Visintin's mother Cäcilie ("Cilli") was also thrilled on Thursday afternoon.

Omar Visintin wrote South Tyrolean sports history on Thursday and raced onto an Olympic podium for the first time. After the bronze medal, he was overjoyed – just like his parents, who were cheering at home. In an interview with us, mother Cäcilie talks about the memorable day, why the phone was overheating and why she often asked her son to stop.
