Josef Aichner was able to celebrate for the second time after winning a medal at the 12th World Curling Championships in Amstetten and Winklarn on Friday. One day after winning World Championship silver in the target team competition, Teiser also secured World Championship silver in the individual target competition with a super performance in the final. Aichner competed in the World Curling Championships for the first time in Amstetten. He has previously taken part in the European Championships three times. “So far at the European Championships I have won two silver medals and one bronze medal in the target team competition,” remembers Josef Aichner. His best individual placement at the European Championships was 8th place. Teiser is only the third South Tyrolean to win an individual medal at the World Cup.
