VIDEO | Italy convinced the IOC with this film

On Monday, Milan and Cortina were awarded the 2026 Winter Games. Italy's candidacy received 47 votes, Stockholm's only 34. This three-minute image film, which was presented to the International Olympic Committee, played a part in the clear result. The video reflects the special features of Milan and Cortina's Olympic candidacy - including the atmospheric South Tyrol Arena in Antholz.
