Lots of spectacle at the end of the World Cup on the Seiser Alm

As with the snowboarders, it was the men's semifinals that started early in the morning. It was all about the last four remaining starting places for the subsequent finale. The level was extremely high straight away and US boy Colby Stevenson qualified for the final with a strong total score of 87.60.

For the women, the very balanced starting field ensured an exciting finale. In the end, it was Sarah Höfflin from Switzerland who secured victory in the "FIS Seiser Alm Legends World Cup" just ahead of the favorite Frenchwoman Coline Ballet Baz. The American Caroline Claire completed the podium in third place.

For the men, it was a tight race for the podium places from the start. The level was extremely high and the spectators were repeatedly thrown from their seats in the finish area at the Laurin lift. In the end, it was once again those athletes who had already dominated the qualification who fought for the podium. Colby Stevenson, who is at the top of the winner's podium for the first time, took victory with a confident run and extremely technical tricks. At his side were Colin Wili from Switzerland and the Australian Russell Henshaw who completed the winning photo.

The premiere was a success

Immediately after the final competition, OC boss Moritz Gruber took stock: “We are extremely proud to have carried out this premiere for South Tyrol and Italy to the satisfaction of the athletes, the FIS and of course the Alpe di Siusi. A thank you goes to everyone who made this showcase into the world of freestyle sports possible, from the perfect course to the sponsors to the numerous volunteers and of course the entire OK team around the Freestyle Association.

Lots of spectacle at the end of the World Cup on the Seiser Alm

On the last day of the Slopestyler World Cup premiere in South Tyrol, the world's best ski acrobats showed off their skills - to the delight of the numerous spectators who gathered at the snow park on the Alpe di Siusi.
