Germany and Austria clear away (almost) everything on Ritten

In the U23 age group, Christoph Maierhofer from Austria was crowned the new world champion in the target competition with 689 points. His compatriot Jakob Solböck took silver (670), while Daniel Steber from Germany was happy about the bronze medal (658). Fabian Eder achieved the best result from a South Tyrolean perspective, finishing in seventh place with 597 points. Patrick Rottensteiner, however, came tenth (576). Rytis Petruskevicius (113,07 meters) and Titas Malinauskas (109,29) from Lithuania prevailed there. Bronze went to Maximilian Koller (Austria/94,65).
