These Olympic tears go around the world

The case of Belgian skeleton racer Kim Meylemans shows what the strict Corona rules can trigger at the Olympic Games in Beijing. The 25-year-old tested positive after her arrival on Sunday. After a negative one, a third test was positive again, after which she was taken to a quarantine hotel. After she was allowed to leave this accommodation on Wednesday, she was initially taken to another quarantine location. From there she reported to the public with an emotional video that obviously had an impact: Meylemans was now in the Olympic Village, the Belgian team announced.
