There's not much in there apart from the bed, but it's very clean," the woman from Val Gardena continues. “When it comes to technology, the Chinese are at the highest level. I would say that they are pretty far ahead of us. Of course it’s pretty cold, but I’m enjoying these days to the fullest.” Silvia Bertagna (ski freestyle): At 35 years old, the blonde is the oldest South Tyrolean participant in Beijing. She was already represented at the Winter Games in Sochi in 2014. “Although the Olympia Village is nice, it gets boring after a few days. We are only allowed to go out for training and competitions. As far as the tasting goes, it's better than I expected. The food is not of our quality, but you can always find something to satisfy your hunger. In addition to the extreme cold, the wind is also increasing.” Snowboarder Daniele Bagozza from St. Ulrich agrees: “The snow is cold and takes getting used to. But we still have a few training rides.”
