BIATHLON: The biathletes of the IBU Cup competed in the sprint in Osrblie. Larisa Kuklina secured victory after a flawless performance on the shooting range and relegated her competitors Ragnhild Femsteinevik and Victoria Slivko to the places. Michela Carrara was the best Azzurra in the field with 10th place. The equally flawless South Tyrolean Hannah Auchentaller achieved a strong 23rd place, while Linda Zingerle finished 56th. + + + TOBOGGANING RUN: The doubles also had success in today's sprint competitions. Emanuel Rieder and Simon Kainzwalder went for the podium in Sigulda. Ultimately, they were denied a place on the podium by three thousandths of a second.
