NORDIC COMBINATION: In Otepää, Estonia, the Nordic combined athletes had to contend with unusual conditions. Terence Tchiknavorian and Bastien Midol scored a one-two for the hosts in the men's category, and Sandra Näslund from Sweden won in the women's category. + + + ALPINE SKIING: A European Cup giant slalom was on the program in Andalo on Saturday. The South Tyrolean Vivien Insam (Gröden) showed a good performance. After finishing 10th in the first round, Insam was able to improve to 1th place. This also made Insam the best Azzurra. The victory went to Zrinka Ljutic from Croatia. + + + BOB: Francesco Friedrich (GER) continued his winning streak in the Olympic winter. The double Olympic champion won the four-man bobsleigh World Cup on Saturday in Winterberg with his team Thorsten Margis, Martin Grothkopp and Alexander Schüller. Patrick Baumgartner (ITA/Palatinate) took 22nd place. + + + BOARDERCROSS: There was one victory for Italy in the team competition. Michela Moioli and Lorenzo Sommariva left the entire competition behind. In the end, Marita Kramer (AUT) was at the top. The Austrian had already won on Friday. Silje Opseth (NOR) came second, followed by Katharina Althaus (GER). As on Friday, there were no World Cup points for Lara Malsiner (Gröden).
