FC Südtirol: Special reunion with the feared opponent

FC Südtirol has not yet lost in the current Serie B season. Now, with Modena, a real test is coming to the Drususstadion, because the Emilians are something of a feared opponent of the white-reds in Serie B.

Last year, FC Südtirol lost both games against Modena. This is remarkable because, from a sporting perspective, the Canaries were not necessarily one of the top teams in the league. There will be a reunion on Tuesday (20.30:XNUMX p.m.) – also with ex-FCS defender Giovanni Zaro.

The central defender really wanted to leave in the summer and went back to Modena, from where he had already come to South Tyrol. In the five league games so far (Modena did not play on matchday 5), Zaro was in action for the full distance. The same applies to Modena as to the FCS: they are undefeated so far! There are 1 wins and 3 draws for Paolo Bianco's team, who came to Juventus as assistant coach in the summer. With 2 points, Modena is in third place in the Serie B table. The White-Reds are in 11th place with 3 points (9 wins, 2 draws).

FCS coach Pierpaolo Bisoli will probably go back to 4-4-2 against Modena.

FCS coach Pierpaolo Bisoli will also have to do without his super joker Silvio Merkaj on Tuesday evening. The Albanian is suffering from a muscle injury. The big question will be who Bisoli puts up front alongside Raphael Odogwu. Most recently, Bisoli tried a 4-1-4-1 system, but it didn't work well. In defense, Kevin Vinetot could get a breather. Giuseppe Cuomo is healthy again and is available to replace the French veteran.
