Oberliga: Plose is relegated, Naturns almost

At the bottom of the table, SC Plose, the last little spark of hope for staying in the league has gone out with three matchdays to go. The Eisacktaler lost 0-2 to Eppan and now have no chance of reaching the safe shore. The Überetscher, where Ferrari scored twice, are now moving away from the bottom of the table.

Naturns resigned

In addition to Plose, another South Tyrolean top league team is stumbling towards relegation. We're talking about SSV Naturns, who couldn't get more than a 1-1 draw in Trent - even though the home team only sent their junior team into the game. Numerous players had left the financially troubled chaos club in the past few days. "There's no question about it, we should have won here," said Naturns coach Grünfelder disappointedly after the final whistle. "We'll obviously continue to fight for the necessary points, but that's probably it to stay in the league." Pföstl's one goal was for the yellow-blues in the Briamasco Stadium not enough.

Bozner FC wins six-point game

Bozner FC secured the eagerly awaited South Tyrolean derby in the relegation battle against St. Martin. The “Mortiner” took an early lead through Tschöll, but in the second half Bertoldi and Pichler turned the tables in favor of the newly promoted team. He takes a deep breath as the situation for the team from Passeier Valley becomes more and more difficult.

In the third purely South Tyrolean duel, SSV Ahrntal and SV Tramin shared the points. Pipperberg put the home team in front in the early stages, but Daniel Pfitscher scored 1-1 for Tramin midway through the second half. The white-blacks thus consolidated their status as the best domestic league team.

The conclusion of the 27th matchday is Salurn and Alense, who face each other in the evening game. The Unterlanders surprisingly had to admit defeat 0-1 and therefore failed to catch up to the top third of the table.
