Whenever the ice hockey seasons come to an end, some fan clubs really put their foot down or skates again. The Supporters Cup has become an institution and is entering its 9th edition this Saturday.

Ice hockey fan clubs are usually separated by different sectors, security staff, or even sometimes police during their clubs' matches - this is not the case with the Supporters Cup, where contact, exchange and friendship are clearly the focus.

Many fans then carry the friendships they have developed throughout the entire ice hockey season. After competing on the ice at the Intercable Arena in Bruneck, the focus is on celebrating together away from the ice (in Bruneck in the “Go West” in the arena).

8 teams from Italy, Austria and Switzerland, around 180 players and numerous guests will once again give the Supporters Cup 2024 a very special touch.

The event is organized by Franz Tessari from Milan and arose from a fun match in Neumarkt between the fan clubs Angolino Milano and Wolves1896 Bruneck. The organizer Franz Tessari attaches great importance to the social component of the tournament. The net proceeds from games, sales campaigns and consumption have always benefited various charity organizations: the “Südtiroler Sporthilfe”, ADMO Alto Adige (bone marrow donation) and HelpinAction (humanitarian aid for Tibet) are supported by the Supporters Cup.
