Italy's national coach operated successfully

Good news for Mike Keenan: Italy's national ice hockey coach has undergone successful surgery.

“Italia.Hockey” announced this on its Facebook page, among others: “We are pleased to announce that the operation that Italian national coach Mike Keenan underwent was successful. A rehabilitation period will follow while he will watch the Azzurri at the World Cup in Bolzano from home.”

In just under a month, on April 28th, the World Cup in the 1st Division Group A begins in Bolzano. The Azzurri will be led into the World Cup by assistant coach Mike Pelino. He receives support from his staff, which includes Fabio Armani, Giorgio De Bettin, Diego Scandella (all assistant coaches) and David Jamieson (goalie coach). Furthermore, Italy's coaching team will be joined by a new face viz Perry Pearn.
