SURVEY | Home World Cup in Bolzano: Will Italy achieve promotion?

6 teams will take part in the World Cup of the 1st Division Group A in Bolzano from Sunday. On paper, Italy is one of the top favorites alongside Slovenia. The first 2 nations advance to the top group and take part in the A World Cup in 2025. The Blue Team last took part in the elite title fights in Finland in 2022 and was relegated there in the end.

Last year, Italy missed direct promotion at the B World Cup in Great Britain. This should now take place in Bolzano. The other opponents are South Korea, Japan, Romania and Hungary. The Hungarians in particular should be the biggest competitor for Slovenia and Italy in the fight for the first two places.
