6th win in a row: Foxes continue to be a bulwark

In front of almost 3000 spectators, Klagenfurt initially started like the fire department and threatened the goal protected by Melichercik with two shots within a minute. After that, the action mainly took place in the neutral zone, only after 10 minutes did things become turbulent again - but this time in front of the goal of Klagenfurt goalie Madlener, who was powerless when Glenn's shot was deflected by Root.

The home team had a chance to equalize just a few seconds later through former Bolzano player Ziga Pance, but the Slovenian narrowly missed the goal after a pass from Hurtubise. The HCB's second strike came straight away: Bernard shot the puck far past the goal, but then the puck came out from the boards on the other side, where Denny Kearney was there and made it 2-0 (13th). The furious five minutes were perfected by Klagenfurt's Lundmark, who coolly took advantage of his team's first power play situation to make it 1-2 (15th).

Gold goal by Reid After the first break, 52 seconds had been played when Frigo curved through the Klagenfurt defense and tested Madlener, who let the puck drip right onto Reid's stick. The Canadian had no trouble getting the hard rubber disc over the line - 3:1.

The Foxes presented themselves as cold as the famous dog's snout in front of the opposing goal, while Klagenfurt showed great difficulties defensively and seemed too unimaginative offensively. Things only got tricky twice in front of Melichercik's box, when Klagenfurt first failed at the post and later, in the person of Bischofberger, couldn't get past the brilliantly reacting Bozen goalkeeper (38th).

Strong Melichericik In the final third, Klagenfurt surrounded Bozen in their own half, but the Foxes defended cleverly and were able to rely on a strong goalkeeper who was on hand for Lundmark and Duller's shots. The EC KAC couldn't achieve much more - and so it was a deserved victory for the HCB, which occupies third place in the table and is only one point behind the leading duo Salzburg-Vienna.

On Sunday the HCB will face Dornbirn in the Eiswelle at 17.30 p.m.

6th win in a row: Foxes continue to be a bulwark

HCB Südtirol Alperia didn't stop at the strong home team EC KAC and achieved their sixth win in a row with a 3-1 win. Since the competition made a mistake, the Foxes also took a big step forward in the table and are in third place.
