AHL: Riding in the style of a top team

The Rittner Buam once again lived up to their reputation as the best away team and left nothing to be desired in Asiago in front of a full hut (1600 spectators). In the end, the Buam won 4-1 and presented themselves in the style of a top team in the previous 60 minutes. Asiago was much more committed offensively, but Patrick Killeen showed an outstanding performance, defusing 44 of 45 shots, while his colleagues on the other side of the ice were very efficient (four goals from 29 attempts).

Wolves rage against Cortina Pursuer Pustertal also did its homework with a 5-2 win over Cortina. After two thirds it was a 1-1 draw, but then Andergassen and Wiebe gave Puster a 3-1 lead. After that it got exciting again as Lacadelli reduced the score six minutes before the end - but Wolves' victory could no longer be shaken. Also because Andergassen and Schweitzer made it 5:2 with their goals.

Val Gardena continued its positive upward trend, winning 4-2 against Vipiteno in the only South Tyrolean duel of the day. Roupec gave the Wipptalers the lead after five minutes, but Fabio Kostner and Diego Iori turned the result on its head in the first section and thus laid the foundation for the Furie's victory.

The 700 spectators in Fassa saw a high-scoring game. In the end, the guests from Neumarkt prevailed 4:3. Florian Wieser's goal eight minutes before the end was decisive.
