AHL: Ritten before winning the basic round

Leader Ritten meets the Zeller Eisbären away from home. Although Salzburg are currently in eighth place, they have suffered seven defeats in their last eight games. The Buam, on the other hand, are in impressive form and were recently able to clearly win the top game against Asiago 4-1. If they win, the cracks from the high plateau would no longer be able to take first place in the basic round.

The Pusterer Wolves also have three points planned, as they will meet Klagenfurt's second guard at 14.30 p.m. The Carinthians are currently at the bottom of the table with just 15 points. But caution is advised: Pustertal suffered its first defeat of the season against Klagenfurt of all places. On October 1st there was a 1-2 defeat after extra time.

An important game awaits Neumarkt: The Unterlandlers meet Salzburg away and with a win they can overtake the Red Bulls and, in the event of a Rittner victory, also Zell am See and take eighth place.

Sterzing, on the other hand, has to travel to Slovenia. The Broncos are guests at Jesenice, which got back to winning ways after two defeats in a row on Tuesday against Feldkirch.
