AHL: South Tyrolean teams with a mixed record

League leader Ritten made short work of second-to-last Fassa. It was already 2-0 in the first third and 4-1 for the home team after two thirds. In the end, the Rittner Buam had a befitting 5-1 win. It was the 20th win of the current season – a dream record.

Neumarkt cheers against Val Gardena

There was a late victory for Neumarkt in Val Gardena. Two goals from Muzik secured the victory for the Unterlanders. At Pustertal, however, there was nothing to cheer about. Instead, the Wolves suffered a 2-4 defeat at Cortina. Vipiteno also lost against Asiago. The second-place team won 3-2.
