AHL: Two Canadian wolves give the “Furie” a leg up

The Canadian Guard played particularly well for the Wolves. Wacey Rabbit gave the HCP a 1-0 lead with a flick in the second third, before Shayne Wiebe increased the score to 3-0 with two wonderful solo runs after the last break. Moroder's goal was just a cosmetic result. In the table, Pustertal remains behind the leader Ritten, who is not playing any championship games this week because of the Continental Cup, and is now only four points behind.

Things aren't going well at Neumarkt at the moment: the Unterlanders also lost 2-3 in the home game against a strong Asiago and remained without points for the third game in a row.

Vipiteno's winning streak broken Vipiteno's run of success, however, was halted: after three wins in a row, the Broncos were defeated 3-5 in Fassa Valley. After 35 minutes, Vipiteno was already 1:3 behind, but in the same third they equalized again through Felicetti and Baurden. But the Fuggerstadt team were unable to carry this positive momentum into the third period, where Da Tos and Walker sealed the Fassa victory.
