Everyone is looking forward to the 100th derby between Vipiteno and Ritten

HK SZ Olimpija – HC Neumarkt Riwega (17.30 p.m.) The Slovenians have worked their way up to fourth place in the table, but appearances can be deceiving: Olimpija Ljubljana is the only team to have already played 14 games. Neumarkt is in the bottom of the table (15th place) and is hoping for its first “real” win after two overtime wins against Bregenzerwald and KAC II.

EC 'Die Adler' Stadtwerke Kitzbühel – HC Pustertal Wölfe (19.30 p.m.) The Eagles are in eleventh place in the table with 14 points, four points and two positions behind the Wolves. However, Kitzbühel has only played ten games, the Wolves have already played twelve games. After two defeats (one in a penalty shootout), HC Pustertal wants to win again.

WSV Vipiteno Broncos Weihenstephan – Rittner Buam (19.30 p.m.) In the top game of the round, the fifth-placed team hosts the league leaders. The hosts won the last derby against Pustertal and also the last game against Ritten a year ago. It is the 100th game between the two teams. The balance sheet shows 54 wins, three draws and 42 defeats for Ritten.

EHC Alge Elastic Lustenau – FBI VEU Feldkirch (19.30 p.m.) Lustenau didn't have a good start to the championship, five of the first six games ended in defeat, which only means 14th place in the table. Feldkirch is in tenth place in the table and, like Kitzbühel, has only played ten games and won five of them.

EC Bregenzerwald – Migross Supermercati Asiago Hockey (19.30 p.m.) Things are going very well for the sixth-place team from Vorarlberg at the moment, with two wins in a row against Pustertal and Fassa. But Asiago, third in the table, also won the last two games.

HC Fassa Falcons – Red Bull Hockey Juniors (20 p.m.) Fassa (11th place in the table) welcomes their direct pursuer from Salzburg (12th place in the table). It should be an even game, with only one point separating both teams.

HC Gherdeina valgardena.it – HDD SIJ Acroni Jesenice (20.30 p.m.) The people of Val Gardena can't get out of the bottom of the table and finally have to score again after five bankruptcies in a row. It is questionable whether this will be successful against third-placed Asiago.

SG Cortina Hafro – EK Zeller Eisbären (20.30 p.m.) Former league leaders Cortina have slipped to eighth place after three defeats in a row, immediately behind the Eisbären. The guests from Salzburg recently at least scored a point against Lustenau.

In the Alps Hockey League, the South Tyrol derby between the Vipiteno Broncos and league leaders Rittner Buam is on the program on Saturday evening. Val Gardena also has a home game, all other South Tyrolean teams have to play away on the ice. Here is the preview of Saturday's AHL games:
