“Ice hockey will always remain a part of me”

In addition to Ivan Tauferer, Hannes Oberdörfer, Anton Bernard and Alexander Eisath, Andreas Lutz also recently ended his career. For years, the 36-year-old from Meran was one of the best South Tyrolean defenders, whose main strength was ice skating.

In the last 6 years, Lutz played in the Alps Hockey League (AlpsHL) and played 267 games (227 points) for Asiago and the Rittner Buam. In the following interview, the offensive defender looks back on his career.
