Val Gardena's series of defeats doesn't stop

In the first meeting of the season, HCG sent Asiago home with an 8-3 score. At that time, however, it was not regular goalkeeper Gianluca Vallini who stood between the posts, but rather his backup, Luca Stevan. After that, the young goalkeeper hasn't played a single minute - until now. After Damian Bergmeister's goal in the 15th minute, Vallini had to leave the ice injured and Stevan was called into action.

The same fate befell HCG: Jake Smith limped off the ice shortly after the start of the second period and was replaced by Leo Kostner. At this point the hosts were leading 2-2 thanks to Vince Loschiavo and Alex Gellert.
