Home win: The Broncos end Laibach's high flight

In front of around 350 spectators, the “Wildpferde” took the lead through Roland Hofer shortly before the end of the first third. It was the fourth goal of the season for the 28-year-old defender. After the restart, the home team showed efficiency and increased the lead to 2-0 thanks to Paolo Bustreo's goal. In the final section the guests tried to turn the result around, but at the latest the strong Gianluca Vallini was always the end of the line. Vipiteno, on the other hand, increased the result to the delight of the fans in the Weihenstephan Arena: Luca Felicetti outwitted Zan Us in the power play and thus sealed the unexpectedly clear 3-0 home win.

Big win for the wolves, defeat for Ritten HC Pustertal has been the regular season winner since last week, but the “Wolves” didn’t want to give up against Feldkirch. No sooner said than done: Petri Mattila's team left no doubts in their own stadium and clearly defeated Vorarlberg 6-0. For the Black and Yellows, Max Oberrauch (2), Raphael Andergassen, Cody Corbett, Markus Gander and Tommaso Traversa were able to get on the long list of goalscorers. The outstanding Colin Furlong kept his box clean for the tenth time this season.

Meanwhile, the Rittner Buam suffered a bitter defeat: In Klobenstein, the Italian champions could not find the right recipe to survive against the young bulls from Salzburg in the absence of Alex Frei. The 2:6 defeat means that the Buam slip to fourth place in the table. However, Tragust & Co. still have all the trump cards in the fight for the top four.
