In the top game of the round, the Rittner Buam beat the old champions from Cortina 2-1. While Meran was also able to celebrate (5:4 against Lustenau), Val Gardena (3:4 against Zell am See) and Unterland (3:6 against Fassa) suffered bitter defeats.
