Stadium must be demolished: Broncos on the brink of extinction

The images of the stadium collapse in Vipiteno resemble those of a devastating catastrophe, but fortunately no people were injured. However, one existence is at stake: that of the Wipptal Broncos.

“Honestly, I don’t see a future for Vipiteno ice hockey,” the sober words of Broncos sports director Egon Gschnitzer are of great importance – not only for the Vipiteno AlpsHL team, but also for around 160 youth players. For Gschnitzer, a call at half past 7 a.m. changed the world and with it that of the Wipptal Broncos.
