Even the master can't stop the Buam

Italian champion Ritten in Klobenstein in front of almost 500 spectators extended their lead in the table thanks to a 2-0 win against INL champion Bregenzerwald. After 20 match days, the Buam lead with 57 points, ten points ahead of Pustertal and 14 points ahead of Feldkirch. The championship duel was characterized by tension from the first to the last minute. This was primarily due to the fact that the home team was unable to convert their field superiority into goals for a long time. It wasn't until the second third that Fabian Ebner gave Buam the lead. The advanced Roland Hofer finally made the final score 2-0 in the final period.

The game in the Würtarena offered even more thrills, where HC Neumarkt lost 3-4 to the Adler from Kitzbühel in overtime. Christian Willeit gave the Wild Goose a 1-0 lead, but the outsiders from Gamsstadt then came up trumps and moved ahead to 3-2. Only in the final second was it the HCN defender who really made it 3:3 at the last minute. With this goal, however, Willeit only secured one point for his team, as Sarkanis scored the guests a celebrated victory in extra time.
