Bolzano gets two important points against bottom team Laibach

At the beginning of the middle third, Charlebois was injured and had to leave the ice. Enrico Miglioranzi came into play in his place. Laibach started like the fire department, but Jaroslav Hübl maintained Bolzano's lead with several brilliant saves. Then the HCB took command again. First Miglioranzi failed with a long-range shot, then Jerry Kuhn saved on MacGregor Sharp. In the 34.23 minute, even the Slovenian goalkeeper couldn't prevent Bolzano's third goal. Markus Gander started the counterattack and coldly converted to make it 3-1. But the game was far from decided, as just two minutes later Ales Music reduced the score to 2:3 with a precise shot.

In the final third, Bozen put a lot of pressure on the Slovenian defense, but were unable to score. In particular, the Bolzano parade block with Sharp, Strömberg and Santorelli was always extremely dangerous. In the final minutes, Laibach acted harder and was first given a 10-minute penalty against Jake Laplante and then even a match penalty against Nicholas Ross. Ross hit Kim Strömberg in the head 75 seconds before the end of the game and had to take a shower early. But nothing changed in the result, Bolzano won 3-2 and got two important points in the fight for a play-off place.
