Bolzano triumphs in Salzburg: Sharp secures penalty victory

With a true masterpiece, HC Bozen brought Salzburg to its knees on Friday evening and simultaneously took second place in the pick round table with three points. But Egger and Co. were not satisfied with that for a long time. After overcoming a period of pressure from Salzburg at the start of extra time, Beaudoin missed the winning goal. Then Raffl tried it on the other side. However, he was also unsuccessful and both teams had to go to a penalty shootout. There, Sharp immediately put Bozen in the lead with a wrist shot. After that, Hübl and Gracnar kept their box tight until Shofield stepped in and sealed the HCB victory.
