The Italian Cup semi-final was replayed in Klobenstein on Thursday, in which the home team took revenge for the defeat on Saturday and won 5-3. The long-term injured Ryan Ramsay, Alexander Eisath and Alex Frei were missing from Ritten. Alleghe was able to count on the services of Luka Tosic again, while Gino Guyer had to sit in the stands as a surplus foreigner. Alleghe took the lead after just a few moments. Matt Waddell took the shot and Vince Rocco gave the puck the decisive change in direction. Alleghe cleverly managed the narrow lead in the emotionless first third. After the Continental Cup and the Italian Cup, HC Bozen and Valpellice returned to everyday life in Serie A on Thursday. The record champions and the guests from Piedmont met in the first round of the Master Round. Bozen won surprisingly clearly with 7:2 goals and with this success replaced HC Pustertal, who took a break today, at the top of the table. The star of the evening was the American Ryan Flynn, who scored four of Bolzano's seven goals. But the only thing talked about in the ice wave was goalkeeper Tomas Duba, who played his last game in the white and red jersey today. Bolzano had to make do without the ailing strikers Marco Insam and Christian Walcher, while Valpellice were missing goalkeeper Jordan Parise and the long-term injured Paul Baier. The guests found their first good opportunity to score, but Tomas Duba was able to safely fend off Marco Pozzi's shot. Shortly before the second break he increased the score to 3:1, then Mark McCutcheon, again in the power play, scored with a precise shot to make the score 4:1 at half time. In the final third, Bozen controlled the game, Valpe seemed tired and couldn't improve any further. Flynn made it 51.29-5 in the 1 minute, then Ralph Intranuovo shortened the score for the Piedmontese. However, just 21 seconds later, Anton Bernard outwitted goalkeeper Rivoira and restored the four-goal lead. Ryan Flynn again scored the final point two minutes before the end of the game. It was the 24-year-old American's fourth goal, his 26th this season.
