Bolzano loses 1:2 at home, Saturday's playoff in Asiago

Today HCB coach Adolf Insam had to make do without the long-term injured Christian Borgatello and Samuli Suhonen. The Finnish defender injured his thigh on Tuesday and was therefore unable to play. In his place, Rhett Gordon played in defense, while Nik Mazzolini was deployed in the second line of attack with Marco Insam and Scandella. In the final minute the goalkeeper gave up his place for a sixth field player, but nothing changed in the result, Asiago won 2-1 and now has the opportunity to reach the final at home on Saturday.
