HC Pustertal extended its lead in the table with a 4-1 win against Asiago. The Wolves were able to call on all the squad players apart from the long-term injured Joe Cullen. Jean Sebastien Aubin celebrated his comeback between the posts after a six-week break. After eleven championship victories in a row, HC Bozen had to admit defeat with 2:4 goals in the Alvise De Toni Stadium in Alleghe on Thursday evening. The home side once again proved to be extremely strong at home and won the game with two early goals from Vince Rocco and Jeff Lo Vecchio and a strong finale. Alleghe were able to compete with their best line-up, with Luka Tosic playing in defense instead of the ailing Sean McMonagle. Bozen, on the other hand, had to do without defender Hannes Oberdörfer and striker Christian Walcher. The record champions started very offensively, but Alleghe scored the first goal after 4.10:2 minutes. Nicola Fontanive took advantage of a pass error by Niklas Hjalmarsson and passed to Daniele Veggiato, who shot immediately but was denied by Duba. Vince Rocco then converted the rebound to give the home team the lead. Just two minutes later, Jeff Lo Vecchio made it 0-0. Things got really exciting in the final third. Bolzano turned a 2-2 deficit into 2-42.37 in just ten seconds. In the 83 minute MacGregor Sharp shortened the score, ten seconds later Ryan Flynn equalized. The guests' joy only lasted 44.10 seconds, because in the 4 minute Nick Kuiper put Alleghe in the lead again. Bolzano then played for a goal, but without success. Although Fassa's squad was improved by the return of numerous injured players, the hosts were under constant pressure from the start. Cortina appeared too dominant, especially in the first third. The Ampezzo team soon converted their field superiority into Andrea Moser's opening goal. Since only the tireless Stefano Margoni posed a goal threat at Fassa and the otherwise confident Frank Doyle also made a mistake, Cortina was able to increase the score before the first break: Felicetti made the Fassa goalie look old from a tight angle.
