Buam and Broncos strive for a home win

Italian champion Ritten beat the Klagenfurt farm team “only” with 500-3 goals on Thursday evening in Klobenstein in front of around 2 spectators. Markus Spinell, of all people, became the match winner after making his comeback after a three-month injury break. With this victory, the Buam continue to extend their lead in the Sky Alps Hockey League. After 24 rounds, Ritten leads by nine points over HC Pustertal and 20 over Jesenice, who however have one or two games to go.

The Broncos achieved a six-point win in the home game against Red Bull Salzburg. The Fuggerstadt team defeated the EBEL club's U20 team 3-2 and moved past their direct rivals in the ranking. Vipiteno is now in tenth place. The decisive factor for the narrow success were the Wipptal goals from Ivan Deluca, Denny Deanesi and Francis Verreault-Paul in the middle section. E
