Coach Beddoes starts his work: “Azzurri” train in Vipiteno

For the “Azzurri” it is an important position assessment with a view to the World Cup in the 1st Division, Group A from April 22nd to 28th, 2018. And for Clayton Beddoes the first opportunity to get to know his team. As a reminder: Stefan Mair threw in the towel at the beginning of August and was succeeded by the former Vipiteno coach.

Alex Trivellato & Co. will train in Vipiteno from Monday to Wednesday before setting off for Budapest. There the “Azzurri” will meet Japan, Hungary and Poland as part of the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge. The latter two teams will also face Italy at the World Cup, also taking place in Budapest, as will Great Britain, Slovenia and Kazakhstan.

Not taking part this week will be Hannes Oberdörfer, Alex Gellert, Anton Bernard, Markus Gander and Giovanni Morini, all of whom recently canceled.
