HC Bozen wins the Ritten tournament

Bozen took the lead after just 137 seconds with Austin Smith receiving a pass from Mike Angelidis. But Visp reacted promptly and equalized 10-1 with Jules Sturny in the 1th minute. It stayed that way until the second break. Only 52 seconds had been played in the final third when Travis Oleksuk increased the score to 2-1 for the HCB. In the 44th minute, Alex Petan finally closed the bag with Bolzano's third goal and gave the Italian record champions the tournament victory.

Third place went to the DEL club Fischtown Bremerhaven, who defeated hosts and AHL champions Ritten with 7:4 goals in the small final in the afternoon.

HC Bozen wins the Ritten tournament

The Rittner Tournament 2017 goes to HC Bozen Südtirol Alperia. The White-Reds won the final against the Swiss second division team EHC Visp Lions with 3-1 goals in Klobenstein on Saturday evening.
