In the final phase, the traditional Slovenian club was even able to operate with one more man - without capitalizing on it. In the last two minutes of the game, Chiodo went off the ice for a sixth player - this measure was also unsuccessful. It remained a narrow away win for HC Bozen, who remained unbeaten in their fifth game against Laibach and returned to winning ways after two league defeats.
