In the third playoff quarter-final against SAPA Fehervar, coach Tom Pokel had to make do without defender Nicoletti, who sustained an injury to his middle finger. Now the Foxes became more courageous and with a double blow the HCB Südtirol pulled away. The Talferstadt team continued to dominate the game in the early stages of the second third. In the final third, the guests came out of the locker room stronger again and looked for salvation on the offensive. In a double majority situation in favor of the Foxes, the Italian record champions made everything clear. Mark Santorelli made it 3-0 and definitely broke the Hungarians' necks. At this point at the latest, the third win in the third quarter-final match against Fehervar was secured.
