SHC Fassa – WSV Vipiteno

The Broncos had more trouble away at the bottom of the table than they could have expected, but in the end they won clearly 4-1. Fassa took the lead early through Marchetti, but then the Wipptalers, where Hackhofer made his comeback, began to catch up. Mair, Owens and Stofner turned the game around before Naatanen fixed the final score in the final phase.

SV Kaltern – HC Asiago

The Pike were in a losing battle against the top team from Asiago for long stretches. Even Kalter's newcomer Montgomery had little to counter the 1:6 defeat at home. Miglioranzi and Ulmer quickly gave the guests a 2-0 lead before Nicola Tessari, Iori, Nicola Tessari and Ulmer again increased the score. Deanesi only scored the Kalterer consolation goal with the interim 1:5.

HC Eppan – Hockey Milano

Just two days after the away coup at Ritten, the Pirates suffered a bitter setback at home against Milan. Without newcomer DeHart and Peruzzo, who injured his shoulder, the Überetscher had to give way to the guests with 1:4. The decisive factor was once again the Milanese parade block. Philipp Jaitner was able to equalize the 1-0 through Gron, but then double goalscorer Vallorani and Borghi HCE goalie Vallini lost out three more times. The game was therefore decided

HC Neumarkt – HC Valpellice

HC Neumarkt offered a flawless fighting performance, but ended up empty-handed for the fourth time in a row. The Wild Goose, who only fielded one foreigner in Pelletier, had to admit defeat to Valpellice 1-2 after an extremely even game. Pozzi put the Piedmontese in front early on. At the beginning of the final third, Pope increased the score to 2-0 and thus secured the preliminary decision, as the HCN couldn't score more than Lo Presti's goal.

SG Cortina – HC Pustertal

The Wolves scored an extremely important “threesome” in the away game in Cortina and thus kept the pressure on leaders Ritten. Richer's protégés won 3-2 after a real show of strength. Helfer scored the guests' celebrated winning goal three minutes before the end. Previously, Cortina equalized the two opening goals from Crepaz and Scandella twice, ensuring a highly exciting game right up until the very end.

HC Gherdeina – Ritten Sport

In Selva Val Gardena and Ritten faced each other in the South Tyrolean derby. The hosts had to make do without Schenk, Gabriel Vinatzer and Maylan, while the Buam tackled the Continental Cup dress rehearsal without MacAulay, Rissmiller and Lamp. Joe Motzko appeared for the first time. However, the main actor in Ritten was Daccordo, who scored the 1-0 goal and then - after Nigro's equalizer in the meantime - made it 2-1. This all happened in the first third. Val Gardena then pushed for an equalizer, but Ritten found the best chance: Spinell slammed the puck onto the crossbar. It remained 2-1 for the leaders.

The day of the away teams in Serie A

There was not a single home win on the 16th matchday of Serie A: Ritten won at local rivals Val Gardena, while pursuers Pustertal scored fully in Cortina. The Broncos, however, won in Canazei. Eppan, Neumarkt and Kaltern lost out at home.
