The “Azzurri” start preparations for the World Cup

With the end of the season in Serie A and Serie A2 approaching, the focus of top Italian ice hockey is shifting to returning to Group A at the World Cup in Sweden and Finland. The “Blue Team” start their mission to stay in the league in Circle A in Stockholm against Germany, Denmark, Latvia, Norway, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Russia.

The Italian squad players will meet together for training sessions for the first time from April 9th to 12th. From April 13th to 16th, preparations will take place in Caen and Tours in France, where two test matches against the hosts are on the program. The entourage then moves back to Italy. A friendly against Kazakhstan is scheduled for April 24th, 26th (in Asiago) and 27th (Canazei) at 20.30:XNUMX p.m.

On the way to Scandinavia, the “Azzurri” will stop in Denmark from April 30th to May 2nd and test there against the local national players for the last time on May 1st. On May 4th at 12.15:XNUMX p.m. Italy will play its World Cup opener against Germany.
