The HCB season in numbers

0 ...The HCB lost at home in the playoffs. So he said goodbye to the summer break with a crisp white home vest. At the same time, Egger and Co. didn't win a single away game.

1 ...backup Daniel Morandell and Michael Sullmann were allowed on the ice for the only time. Ziga Pance, Marco Insam and Toni Bernard, who didn't miss a single game, were the South Tyroleans' long-running favorites.

2 ...Trainers tried to be the successor to master coach Tom Pokel. Mario Simioni had to hand over his position to Don MacAdam on February 5th after a long ups and downs journey. This breathed new life into the HCB.

3 ...The White-Reds recorded victories in their premiere season in the Champions Hockey League. The home win against the Finnish top club TPS Turku is unforgettable. There were also six points against the Czech representative HC Pardubice. 7 ...Bolzano was one point short of a direct entry into the playoffs. You had to qualify for seventh place, but you then mastered it with flying colors.

9,30 ...HC Bozen received an average of penalty minutes per game. This made him the fairest team in the entire league.

18,11% ...of the shots fired by Rick Schofield found their way into the net. That corresponds to 127 goals with 23 shots - which means that the Bolzano player also has top figures in the league.

HC Bozen said goodbye to their summer vacation last Friday with a 3-4 defeat in the seventh quarter-final game against Linz. While the (financial) planning for the next season begins at the club's headquarters, let's take another look back at the 2014/15 season and its striking figures.
