The pirates take command

The yellow-blues have won all four matches so far, including the first home game of the season on Sunday evening against Milan. The Pirates won 8:3 and literally overwhelmed the guests from Lombardy. The Eppan team led 2-0, then conceded the next goal and extended the result to a reassuring 6-1 lead by the end of the second period. The rest was cosmetic results.

After 7 minutes, the score was 2:60 between defending champion Meran and bottom team Chiavenna. The Eagles left nothing to be desired against the latecomers to the table. Piroso's 1-0 lead was a slip-up that Mitterer & Co. immediately ironed out. Luca Ansoldi shone in this match as he provided four assists.

However, Auer suffered his first defeat in the current championship. The Frogs took a 1-0 lead against Alleghe with Pedrini, but ultimately lost out 2-5. The second team from Rittner Buam narrowly missed their first win of the season. Against Fiemme, the team from the high plateau fell behind twice, but equalized just as often. Widmann made the decision in the final third.

Italian Cup: Kaltern and Eppan with victories

In the middle of the week, the Serie B clubs were also in action in the Italian Cup. Kaltern celebrated a 5-2 home win against Meran, while Eppan defeated Rittner Buam B 9-1 away.
