HC Bozen celebrated its 96th anniversary on Epiphany. Derby against Ritten Sport Renault Trucks lost 1400:3 goals in the ice wave in front of 5 spectators. The white and red missed a 2-0 and 3-2 lead. It was the record champions' first encounter after the very successful guest appearance of NHL star Niklas Hjalmarsson, who returned to Sweden. The HCB also had to make do without Christian Walcher, while the guests were missing Alex Frei. Defender Markus Hafner returned to the team. After the first third, Ritten also missed out on Alexander Eisath, who broke his arm. Both teams started very cautiously. But Bozen had more of the game in the early stages and deservedly took the lead in the 7.35 minute mark. Pogge couldn't hold on to a shot from Mark McCutcheon, Ryan Flynn reacted quickest and scored to make it 1-0. After taking the lead, the home side stayed on the pressure and increased in the 12th. Minute to 2:0. Captain Alexander Egger released MacGregor Sharp, who had no trouble beating Pogge for the second time. Ritten tried to react, but nothing more than a dangerous shot from Chris Durno came out. So after twenty minutes it remained 2-0 for Bolzano. Ritten got off to a dream start in the middle third and reduced the score to 39:1 after just 2 seconds. Kevin Mitchell outwitted goalkeeper Duba with a hammer shot from the blue line. Immediately afterwards, Enrico Dorigatti could have restored the two-goal lead, but missed the opponent's goal. Ritten, however, succeeded in the 25th. The equalizer came in the minute with Domenico Perna, who ice-coldly scored on the counterattack to make it 2-2. The guests then remained extremely dangerous and could have taken the lead for the first time with Daccordo. On the other side, Anton Bernard and Marco Insam tried, but Dustin Pogge saved with a brilliant save on the Bolzano team's number “8”. Shortly before the break, Dorigatti directed the puck into the Rittner goal, but the goal did not count because a high stick from the Bolzano player was punished. The final third began with the White-Reds taking the lead again. The scorer was again Ryan Flynn, who deflected a shot from Alexander Egger into Pogge's goal. For the 24-year-old Canadian it was the 22nd. Championship goal. The record champions' lead lasted just 104 seconds until Kevin Mitchell released Dan Tudin with a wonderful pass and he scored to make it 3-3. Ritten now sensed a chance to win and took the lead for the first time ten minutes before the end of the game. Again it was Tudin who reacted quickest and beat Duba for the second time in the turmoil in front of his goal. Bozen then pushed Rittner into their own defense in the power play, but Pogge was always the last stop. On the counterattack, the White-Reds finally conceded their fifth goal: Emanuel Scelfo only had to push a pass from Domenico Perna over the line.

The Wolves are the winners of the regular season after their 6-3 win against Fassa and Bozen's simultaneous defeat against Ritten. In the Leitner-Solar-Arena both teams had to make do without their regular goalkeeper. Jean Seabastien Aubin was missing from the Pusterers, who also had to replace Ben Guitè (Joe Cullen returned to the team), while Frank Doyle was replaced by Gianni Scola at Fassa. The home team took the lead in the fourth minute through Thomas Erlacher, but Ryan O'Marra scored the equalizer a short time later while outnumbered. This goal inspired the guests, who even scored the lead in the 15th minute. Michele Marchetti scored for Fassa to make it 2-1. In the middle third, the runners-up from Pustertal put a lot of pressure on. And so it was no surprise that Joe Cullen equalized in the 27th minute. Things got even better for the home team 70 seconds before the end of the second 20 minutes, as Willeit shot the HCP back in front. The final third hadn't even really begun when O'Marra equalized again after 41 seconds. The stalemate lasted until the middle of the last period, when Thomas Erlacher made it 4-3 for the Wolves after a fine individual performance. 35 seconds later, Max Oberrauch secured the preliminary decision with a score of 5:3, before Pustertal's number “6” made a cosmetic mistake five minutes before the end.

Despite being 0-1 down, Alleghe celebrated a clear 5-1 home win against Valpellice on the penultimate matchday of the regular season. Alleghe was able to play in full, but sent Luka Tosic to the stands as a surplus foreigner. The guests were missing captain Trevor Johnson, who was suspended by the sports referee. Nevertheless, after a strong start, Valpellice took the lead when Nate DiCasmirro scored in the fourth minute. The home team reacted and moved up two gears, but nothing significant came of it at first. The Piedmontese made the rooms narrow and controlled what was happening. In the second third the cards were reshuffled again and Alleghe now went to work with more conviction. Valpellice withstood the pressure from the home team for a long time, but in the 33rd minute the time had come: Jari Monerone equalized for the “Owls”. In the final phase of the second half of the game, Alberto Fontanive even gave the home team the lead when they had the advantage. In the final period of the game, Alleghe definitely turned to victory. Guyer made the preliminary decision with 3:1, while Rocco Valpellice definitely broke his neck with 4:1 six minutes before the end. Jeff Lo Vecchio rounded off the home success with the fifth goal for the home team.

Cortina celebrated its second win in 48 hours, putting Pontebba in its place 4-3. And that despite the fact that the Ampezzans had major injury concerns: Cortina were missing Stanislav Hudec, Derek Edwardson and Stanislav Gron, while Pontebba had to play Miroslav Guren in defense and Felice Giugliano in attack. Despite the numerous absences, the Ampezzo team soon took the lead after an aggressive start. After 90 seconds, Luca Felicetti scored 1-0. Cortina remained in control afterwards, but ten minutes passed before the guests were able to celebrate for the second time. This time Ryan scored Dingle. Just a minute later, the hosts scored again with David Urquhart. But just 63 seconds later, Paul Albers restored the two-goal lead with one more man on the ice and a powerful shot. In the second half of the game, Pontebba started aggressively and reduced the deficit after exactly half an hour through David Urquart. To make matters worse, Matt Sidall injured his wrist a short time later. He sustained a cut. But despite this setback, Francesco Adami increased the score to 4-2 from the Ampezzan team's point of view. But Pontebba didn't give up and threw everything forward in the third third. A little more than three minutes before the end of regular time, the efforts were rewarded when Rizzo made it exciting again with a double majority. But Cortina closed the shop in the final phase and the Ampezzan team had their second win in a row.
