Dolomites Cup 2019: Defending champion Augsburg Panthers back again

Numerous teams from Germany, the Czech Republic, Austria, Norway, Italy, France and Switzerland have taken part in the ice hockey tournament over the past 13 years. Well-known teams used the tournament in Neumarkt, South Tyrol, to prepare for the season. The Dolomites Cup will also be held in the Würtarena next year.

The defending champions and four-time tournament winners, Augsburger Panther, were the first team to be signed. The DEL team won the 2018 final against the strong Swiss top team EV Zug 5-1. With this victory, the Augsburg Panthers also entered the tournament history books: After 2013, 2014 and 2016, Augsburg was the first team to win four editions of the International Dolomites Cup. This makes the Augsburg team the sole record winners.

Not only has the first participant been decided, but also the date for the 14th edition: The Dolomites Cup 2019 will be held from August 16th to August 18th in the Würtarena in Neumarkt.

The other tournament participants will be signed in the coming weeks.
