Ex-coach Tom Pokel will also travel to the Talferstadt together with the Vienna Capitals, returning to the South Tyrolean capital for the first time since his departure in May. The White-Reds therefore face a difficult challenge. Above all, it is important to forget the defeat against Dornbirn as quickly as possible.

“Of course I wasn’t happy with the team’s performance in Dornbirn. We took the match lightly and we paid for it. Now we have to concentrate on the match against Vienna. The Vienna Capitals are a great team, even if they unexpectedly lost out to Laibach last weekend. They play disciplined and have a solid defense. We have to show our fighting spirit once again and cover the neutral zone well. I'm confident, but I also know that I still have some important decisions to make before the game that could weaken the team. Player releases are always painful. But I refer to the club's decisions. However, those of the players who are allowed to stay know that they will have to do a lot more in the future than before,” said HCB coach Mario Simioni.

Kevin Devergilio is not coming to Bolzano

The Füchse trainer does not want to go into more detail about the current squad problem. “They are decisions that the club makes,” concluded Simioni. The club management has now shelved a possible commitment from Asiago center Kevin De Vergilio.

After the home game on Friday against the Capitals, the Foxes have to play in Innsbruck on Sunday. With the exception of Roland Hofer, who has been injured for a long time, Bolzano can compete at the weekend with its best line-up.
