EBEL: The Foxes keep their clean slate

For HCB Südtirol, the 3-2 home win in the Eiswelle in front of more than 2200 spectators was very hard work. It was only ten seconds before the end of regular time that Rodney saved the Foxes extra time with his much celebrated equalizer.

The decision in Talferstädter's favor was then made in the penalty shootout, where DeSimone closed the bag for the white-reds and ensured their third win in the third game. Qualification for the playoffs is getting closer and closer for HC Bozen.

The match against Dornbirn actually started ideally for the home team. Because Insam gave the HCB the lead in the fourth minute. But Aquino and D'Aversa turned the tide in favor of the guests from Vorarlberg with a double strike within just 59 seconds in the middle of the starting third.

The Talferstadt team then chased the deficit until the final phase of the game. When everything pointed to the Foxes' first defeat in the qualifying round, Rodney's big appearance came.
