EBEL: The Foxes defeated Znojmo 3:1

The game began with a huge opportunity for HCB Südtirol Alperia: Metropolit escaped from his guards and put the disc in the right place for Palmieri, who then lost too much time to take the shot and missed the good chance. After that the match petered out and the Foxes controlled the action, but without appearing really dangerous in front of Black. The White-Reds were unable to take advantage of a power play and were promptly punished for it. First, Yellow Horn chased the disc over the empty goal, then he made up for his mistake by setting up for David Bartos, who scored to make it 1-0 for Znojmo. The Bolzano team narrowly missed the equalizer with Insam, on the other side Jan Lattner slammed the puck against the crossbar after a counterattack shortly before the end of the third.

The home team started the second third very powerfully, but did not get a significant shot on goal. Exactly in Znojmo's best phase, Seymour played a remarkable cross pass to Oleksuk, who placed the puck in the Czech goal and equalized. Shortly afterwards it was Brodie Reid who prevailed against three opponents and forced Black to make a big save. The home team then repeatedly appeared dangerous in front of Melichercik. First it was the ex-Bolzano player McMonagle with a powerful shot, then Sulak tried it and Yellow Horn twice in a row, who challenged Bozen's goalie to a brilliant feat.

The final third began with two power play situations for the guests and the second also led to the opening goal for HCB Südtirol Alperia. It was Bolzano's top scorer Brodie Reid with a fantastic direct pass from Kearney who put his team in the lead. Three minutes later the guests were close to their third goal, but Schwarz threw himself into Vallerand's shot. Palmieri and Kearney had further opportunities to decide the game early. The Czechs tried hard to level the game, but the Bolzano team always had their opponents well under control. EBEL: The Foxes defeated Znojmo 3:1

After the 4:6 defeat in Vienna on Friday, HCB Südtirol Alperia immediately returned to winning ways. The Talferstädters were 0-1 behind in the Czech Republic, but in the end they won 3-1.
