A lightning start helped Ritten win

The decisive factor for the smooth success were the first twelve minutes of the game, in which the home team scored four times. Fabian Bacher, Mark Van Guilder, David Ceresa and Alexander Eisath led their team to victory. However, there was still a lot of hard work to be done for the Buam in the remaining season, as Fassa never gave up and reduced the score to 3:5 at the start of the final period thanks to double goalscorer Jouko Voskivuo. Luca Ansoldi made it 6:3 a little later, but another goal six minutes before the end caused tension again. In the end, Ritten confidently maintained a two-goal lead over time.

By winning full points, Borgatello and Co. extend their lead over second-placed HC Pustertal to six points. Fassa, on the other hand, is still in fifth place.

The program in the top ice hockey league will continue on Saturday with the 40th and third-to-last matchday of the regular season.

The Rittner Buam placed a big mortgage on first place in the table on Friday evening. At the end of the fourth-to-last regular season game day, the leaders brought the Fassa Falcons to their knees 6:4.
