With this success, the “Foxes” secured fourth place in the table. “It is currently a very tough phase with playoff intensity. Every team is fighting for the top 6. If you play every other day like now, then everything doesn't always work out the same, but our strength is team spirit, passion and willingness to sacrifice," says HCB head coach Tom Pokel.

In the last 14 days, the Foxes have been in action practically every other day: the South Tyroleans are playing their eighth game in 15 days against the UPC Vienna Capitals at home on Thursday. The Vienna Capitals also have a tough program behind them this month. The league leaders have already played eight times in December and scored 18 points (six wins). Jonathan Ferland and Co. have been successfully on tour again since Friday and have already achieved victories in Szekesfehervar, Innsbruck and Dornbirn. In the table they are the clear number 73 with 25 points (33 wins) from 1 games. The Viennese have been waiting longer for a win in Bolzano than any other league representative: the Austrians last won on January 16, 2015 or before 705 days in South Tyrol now, since then the Foxes have had the better end at home four times in a row.
