A new Panther addition ensures the big show in Neumarkt

The approximately 1.000 spectators, including several hundred from Augsburg, saw a lively game at the start of the DolomitenCup, in which both teams played at a high pace, did not avoid a duel and also let it rip on the boards. The result wasn't expected to change in the final period, but there was still time for several fine offensive combinations from the German first division team, a shot at the outside post by Vålerenga's Axel Eidstedt and one or two tough performances on both sides. In the end, the AEV managed to make it 3-0 safely and thus repeated its entry into the final from the previous year.
